BROWN
TELEPHONE
19091 249-]88]
Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board
1313 Sherman Street
Denver, CO 80203
Re: Application By Whitewater-Building Materials Corporation,
Pursuant to the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act
Gentlemen:
I have been retained by Earl and Carol Dalton to represent them
before the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board on the application
submitted to you by Whitewater-Building Materials Corporation,
pursuant to the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act. I am
enclosing with this letter an objection by Earl and Carol Dalton
to the application. Both the Daltons and myself have reviewed
the plan submitted to your board and have discussed it with
Mr. Gardner, who is the vice president of the applicant corporation,
but still find a few matters not addressed that your board should
be aware of. Consequently, I have suggested to the Daltons that
they prepare an objection and submit that to your board by the
deadline.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Dalton desire to be treated as interested parties
underneath the statute and consequently be notified of any action
by your board dealing with this application. We would like to
know of any hearings that will be conducted and at what times
those hearings will be so that they may be able to participate,
if desired. Should you have any questions regarding the Daltons'
position, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
HARSHMAN, SINCLAIR & BROWN, P.C.
BS+~_l 11
Baird Brown
cb
Enc.
