• (3) Development holes drilled within the permit area immediately <br />' in advance of the active operation for the purpose of fur- <br />ther delineating the economic limits of the coal need not be <br />immediately plugged provided that such holes will be mined <br />through in the normal course of the approved operation. <br />Such holes shall be managed in a manner approved by the <br />Division giving consideration to the geologic, hydrologic, <br />and other appropriate characteristics of the site. <br />RESPONSE <br />H-G Coal Company does not currently drill development holes <br />within the permit area immediately in advance of the active mine <br />area.
