., 2.05.4 Reclamation Plan <br />(1) Each application shall contain a plan for reclamation of the lands <br />within the proposed permit area, showing how the applicant will comply <br />with environmental protection performance standards of the regulartory <br />program. The plan shall include, at a minimum, all information required <br />under the relevant sections of Rule 2. <br />(2) Each plan shall contain the following information for the proposed <br />permit area: <br />(a) A detailed timetable for the completion of each major step in the <br />reclamation plan; <br />RESPONSE <br />The reclamation operation will follow the mining operation as <br />close as practical. Exhibit R (Exhibits Volume I) shows a <br />typical cross-section of the mining and backfilling operation once <br />a full backfilling sequence is obtained. Exhibit D (Exhibit Volume <br />I) shows the annual reclamation sequence. The acres disturbed <br />and reclaimed each year are shown in Table 2. <br />• 2.05.4 (b) A detailed estimate of the cost of reclamation of the proposed <br />operations required to be covered by a performance bond with supporting <br />calculations for the estimates; - <br />RESPONSE <br />Reclamation Cost Detail: <br />The Costs of Reclamation for mining operations coverd by a per- <br />formance bond were developed according to the mine configura- <br />tion shown in Exhibit C, (Exhibit Volume I). This situation <br />occurred during the latter part of 1981 or the first part of 1982. <br />Reclamation Costs include costs for removal of facilities and <br />structures, backfilling of active pit with unreclaimed portion of <br />permanent overburden dump, reduction of remaining pit slopes, <br />replacement of topsoil, revegetation, and administration and <br />general expenses. The final reclamation is illustrated on Exhibit <br />D, (Exhibits Volume I). <br />Removal of Facilities and Structures: <br />' Costs were developed for removal of offices, shop-warehouses, <br />fuel storage, explosive storage, changehouse and sewage disposal <br />
