2.05.4 (e) A plan for revegetation as required in 4.15, including, but
not limited to, description of the:
(i) Schedule of revegetation;
RESPONSE
Seeding and planting of disturbed areas will be conducted so as
to establish on all affected land a diverse, effective, and per-
manent vegetation cover. This vegetation cover will be pre-
dominantly of native species. Introduced species will also be
used in order to achieve a quick, temporary and stabilizing
vegetation cover to aid in controlling erosion.
Seeding and planting will be conducted during the first normal
period for favorable planting conditions after final preparation.
This period is usually during September 1 through October 15 in
the fall and April 15 through May 31 during the spring. As
necessary for effective erosion control, disturbed areas will be
seeded and planted with temporary cover crops of small grains,
• grasses, or legumes until the permanent vegetation is estab-
lished.
2.05.4 (e) (ii) Species and amounts per acre of seeds and seedlings to be
used;
RESPONSE
'Species and amounts per acre of seeds and seedlings are sum-
mazized in Table 4.
205.4 (e) (iii) Methods to be used in planting and seeding;
RESPONSE
Seed will be applied by any of the following methods depending on
steepness of slope, acreage to be seeded and availability of seeding
equipment.
(1) Drill seeded
(2) Hydro seeded
• (3) Hand broadcast
