Curtiss
Division of Minerals and Geology
1313 Sherman St., Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
RE: Greeley West Pit, File No. M-77-081
Dear Mr. Curtiss:

~ECEII iFr
DEC ~ ~ 19,94
Division or Minerals $ GE V f
Post 0!lice Box 2187
Fort Collins, CO 80522
303-082-7854
Metro: 534-0583
FAX: 224-5564
In accordance with your letter dated October 12, 1994, we are submitting the following
plan to evaluate the impact our dewatering activities may be having on ground water
users adjacent to our operations:
1. Western Mobile Northern has drilled monitoring wells along our southern
property boundaries to a depth of 35 feet (See map for approximate
monitoring well locations).
2. We will monitor the wells, and where appropriate the owners' wells, on a
quarterly basis until operations are substantially complete.
3. If we find that we have impacted the wells we will move to mitigate the
situation with the owners.
We understand that time is of the essence in situations like this and as you know we
have moved forward and have the monitoring wells inplace. We will work toward
improving our relationship with the surrounding neighbors so future issues are
addressed more expediently and potentially without having to involve the Division.
If you have any questions or wmments, please contact me.
Sincerely,
Greg Lindsa//~
Concrete and Aggregate Manager
