r'
6. Management Plan
A. Techniques I will use to keep the noxious weeds from going to seed, that will also
reduce infestation.
A combination of control methods will be used in the management plan
We will use Mechanical Control such as ripping, bulldozing, and
shredding. We will also use Chemical Control. We will use Garlon 4
(triciopyr) and follow the directions on the label for application,
precautions, and appropriate personal protective clothing and
and equipment.
B. Implementation schedule.
The noxious weed control plan will be implemented during the
summer months of July - September as recommended.
C. Anticipated length of implementation (years).
The weed management plan will be implemented for as long as
needed. Because the seed source on tamarisk is so great and
tamarisk can easily re-invade a treated area the area will be
monitored every year for new seedlings and will be treated promptly.
Signature _ Date /~ ~ 7
