I have visited the Utah International mine near Craig, Colorado on
several occasions and am familiar with their baseline studies program.
It is my opinion that the data they are collecting is more than adequate
for wildlife baseline data and ti;e company is to be commended for its
• comprehensive approach.
This agency \vill continue to work with Utah International to formulate
plans by \vhicl\ wildlife impacts can be mitigated during and after mining,
The company has been most cooperative in this regard.
