Due to <br />previous disturbance from the existing mine and the construction of the <br />water treatment plant, we find that there will be no effect to cultural <br />resources by continued use of this pit. <br />If previously unidentified archaeological resources are discovered in the <br />course of the project, work must be interrupted until the resources have <br />been evaluated in terms of the State Register eligibility criteria, in <br />consultation with this office. <br />If we may be of further assistance, please contact Jim Green at 866-4674. <br />Sincerely, <br />James E.
