Aland use
permit #5729 was issued to the King Mountain Ranch Co. on January 11, 1962
for the site to begin a rock quarry prior to the present zoning requrirements
for a Special Use Permit.
The proposed disturbance of a 60 acre area with new mining, ponds, plant
sites, etc. to continue open mining within the original permit boundary is
consistant with Section XIX of the Boulder County Zoning Resolution which would
otherwise restrict expansion beyond the 320 acres. Therefore, local zoning
approval can be granted for a continuance of the quarrying operation as stated.
Sincerely ~/
Th\o_7majsyJ.
