Seeding should not be done when the soil is frozen or too wet, The desired seeding depth is 1/2 to 3/a inches deeo. Seeding should be done with a grass seed drill, with a legume seeder on the drill, The drill should also have an agitator in the drill hex, double disc with depth bands and packer wheels. Before seeding, packed areas should be this=_1ed at least six inches deep. If broadcast seeding is used, the area should be packed after the seeding has been completed. The following vegetative seeding recommendation blends in with the surrounding area. These are Pure Live Seed (PLS> rates, not actual pounds per acre. DRSLLED BROADCAST VARIETY SPECIES PLS/AC. The vegetation Should then be managed to prevent overgrazing. 7> EROSION CONTROL: Erosion should be controlled by mulching or other appropriate methods.
