• Drainage from the primary crusher currently enters the active mining area and will eventually <br />pass through the sedimentation pond in Section 2 Township 3 North, Range 93 West as <br />shown on the Hydrology -South Map (Map 12). Drainage from the Gossard Loadout passes <br />through one of three sedimentation ponds located on the northeast side of the facility as <br />shown on the Hydrology -North Map (Map 11). <br />Stoker Coal Loadout Facilirv <br />Details concerning the stoker coal loading facility can be found in Exhibit 15, Stoker Coal <br />Facility, Map,21,-Existing Structures -North, Exhibit 7, Hydrology Information and Exhibit <br />8, Air Quality Information. <br />Explosives Stora e Area <br />Details concerning the explosives storage facility are found in Exhibit 16 -Explosives <br />Storage Facility, and Map 22, Existing Structures South. <br />The storage facility is in compliance with all requirements of the Mine Safety and Health <br />Administration, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the Colorado Division of <br />Mines. <br />Loadout <br />Colowyo's loadout, the Gossard Loadout, is located at the end of the Union Pacific rail line. <br />The only segment of the spur within the permit area is shown on Map 21, Existing Structures <br />North. <br />Sediment Ponds <br />The existing sedimentation ponds for the Colowyo operation are shown and numbered on the <br />Hydrology -South Map (Map 12) and the Hydrology -North Map (Map 11). Most of these <br />sedimentation ponds were constructed in 1978 and 1979 to comply with the performance <br />standards of Subchapter B (Office of Surface Mining Interim Program Standards).
