As
discussed, a delay in train shipments resulted in the toe of the ipile pinching down the
normal access point for the dozer, and as a result we may need the temporary ramp to
access a hot spot on the back side of the pile. The ramp would utilize in-place materials,
lies within the existing sediment control /SAE system, and would be temporary in nature
(less than one week). While it appears that we may be able to work the pile without
making this ramp, we wished to follow-up our earlier conversation with this letter for your
file. In the event that we do need to make the ramp, we will notify 'you by phone following
installation. The accompanying diagram shows the probable location of the ramp if
constructed.
Janet, I really appreciate your assistance in this. As I stated, it would appear that we can
avoid making the ramp, but we still may require it within the next few days. Should you
have any questions or comments, please contact me at your convenience.
Sincerely,

Marcus A. Middleton
Environmental Engineer
