<br />Causes eye irritation. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Harmful if
<br />swallowed. Avoid breathing spray mist. Wash thoroughly aRer handling. In case
<br />of contact, wash skin with soap and water, for eyes, Rush with water for IS

<br />PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)
<br />Applicators and ocher handlers must wear:
<br />- Long-sleeved shirt and long pants
<br />- Chemical-rcsistan[ gloves
<br />- Shoes plus socks
<br />-Protective eyewear
<br />Discard clodring and other absorbentmaterials chat have been drenched or heavily
<br />contaminated with this product's concentrate. Do not reuse them. Follow man-
<br />ufacturer's instmgtions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructiaas far
<br />washables, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately Rom
<br />that laundry.
<br />NGINEERING CONTROLS STATEMENTS
<br />When handlers use closed systems, enclosed cabs, or aircmR in a mannerthat meets
<br />the requirements listed in the Worker Protection Standard (WPS) for agricultural
<br />pesticides [40 CFR 170.240 (d) (4-6)j, the handler PPE requiremenu may be i

<br />USER SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
<br />Users should:
<br />- Wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using
<br />the toilet.
<br />-Remove clothing immediately if pesticide gets inside. T'hea wash thoroughly
<br />and put on clean clothing.
<br />-Remove PPE immediately after handling this product Wash the outside o
<br />gloves before removing, As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change
<br />into clean clothing.
<br />ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS
<br />Do not apply directly to water, ar to areas whett surface water is present or m
<br />iatenida] arcaz below the mean high water mark. Do not conmminate water when
<br />disposing of equipment washwaters.
<br />Apply this product only as directed on Zabel.
<br />DIRECTIONS FOR USE
<br />It is a violation of Federal law w use this product in a manner inconsistent with
<br />its labeling.
<br />Do not apply this product in a way that will conmct workers or othv persons,
<br />eithtt directly or through drift. Only protected handlem may be in the area during
<br />application. For an requirements specific to your Stale or Tribe, consult the
<br />agency responsible for pesticide regulation.
<br />AGRICULTURAL USE REQUIREMENTS .
<br />Use this product only in accordance with its labeling and with the Worker Pro-
<br />tection Standard, 40 CFR part 170. This standard contains requirements for We
<br />pro[ccdon of ngrimrtmml workers on farms, fottsts, nururies, and gceenhovus,
<br />and handlem of agriculmml pesticides. It contains requiremrnts for tiaining,
<br />deconmminadoa, notification, and emergrncy assistance. It also contains spe-
<br />cific instmctions and exceptions pertaining m the statements on dtis label about
<br />personal protective equipment (PPE), and restricted-entry interval. The ttquirc-
<br />ments in this box only apply to uses of this product that are coveted by the
<br />Worker Protection Smndard.
<br />Do not enter or allow worker entry into treated areaz during the restricted entry
<br />interval (REI) of 24 hours.
<br />jPPE ttquited far early entry m treated areas that is permitted under the Worker
<br />.Protection Standard and that involves contact with anythi¢g that has been treated,

<br />NONAGRICULTURAL USE REQUIREMENTS
<br />The requirements in this box apply to the uses of this product that are NOT
<br />within the scope of tits Worker Pmtection Standard for agricultural pesticides
<br />(40 CFR Part l70). The WPS applies when this product is used to produce
<br />agriculmml plants on farms, in nurseries, in forests, or in gttenhovses. Do not
<br />allow others to enter the treated areas until the spray has dried.
<br />Before applying BANVEL, read all directions and precautions appearing on the
<br />wntainer label and in this booklet. Failure to follow aU directions and precautions
<br />may result in unsatisfactory weed coatroi, crop injury, or illegal residua.
<br />GENERAL INFORMATION
<br />The following directions apply to all uses of BANVEL. Additional precautions
<br />and rcsnicdons will be found in each specific use section.
<br />Do not treat irrigation ditches or water used for crop irrigation or domestic uses.
<br />Do not apply this product through any type of irrigation system.
<br />MIXING AND APPLICATION
<br />UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED UNDER THE INDNIDUAL USE HEAD-
<br />INGS OF THIS BOOKLET, THE FOLLOWRJG DIRECTIONS APPLY TO ALL
<br />''~ CROP AND NON-CROP USES OF BANVEL. REFER 70 A1DIVIDUAL USE
<br />SECT]ONS FOR ADDITIONAL PRECAUTIONS, RESTRICTIONS, APPLICA-
<br />TION RATES AND TIMINGS.
<br />BANVEL is awater-soluble formulation that can be applied using water or
<br />spmyable fluid fertilizer as dte carrier. If a fluid fertiliur is to be used, a
<br />compadbiliry test (See COMPATIBII.ITY TEST) should be made prior to tank
<br />mixing.
<br />Ground or aerial application equipment, which will Blue good spray coverage of
<br />weed foliage, should be used. HOWEVER, DO NOT USE AERIAL APPLICA-
<br />TION EQUIPMENT IF SPRAY PARTICLES CAN BE CARRIED BY WIND

<br />WHEN TEMPERATURE INVERSIONS EXIST.
<br />Apply 3 to SO gallons of diluted spray per treated acre when using ground
