<br />2.0 CARE OF DELIVERED MATERIALS <br />Commercially purchased seedlings and Vee stock will be delivered to the project site as close to the <br />time of planting as possible. Upon receipt oT the shipment, plants will be Inspected for moisture status <br />and condition. All seedlings will be watered upon arrival, as necessary, to keep the root system in a moist <br />condition. Watering will be repeated every four days, as needed, following this date until planting. No <br />fertilizer materials will be applied to stored plants. Plants will be stored In such a manner as to: <br />• avoid or reduce moisture stress, <br />• avoid excessive heat or cold, <br />• protect plants }ram wind and mechanical damage, and <br />• provide a staging area for subsequent planting acUNtles. <br />All fertilizer, seed, and mulch materials will be retained in shipping bags until they are to be used. <br />These materials will be stored In a protected area In a manner to prevent them from coming in contact <br />with incident precipitation or surtace water. <br />4 <br />
