Walker, Byron
C~~ /~gy-ads`
~~y gyp /l
From: Walker, Byron
Sent: Monday, August 25, 2003 12:16 PM
To: 'Jim Stover'
Subject: RE: Coal Ridge
Jim, it is a decision for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) to make. The
Division has recognized that there is no longer a requirement for the sedimentation pond [Permit Application
Package (PAP), page 4-58i]. The Division would allow removal (PAP, page 4-54) of the sedimentation pond (see
also Figure 4.7-4). To expedite final bond release, I suggest that all the sediment control features (including the
pond and the west collection ditch and sump) be reclaimed as soon as practical. Please call me if you have any
questions. Byron G.
