During this period Outfalls 6 (Outfall 003A), and E (Outfall 006A), discharged to Foidel Creek.
Outfall 006A flowed each week of the period. Outfall 003A exhibited trace flow only during the second week of the
period, allowing only one sample set to be collected and analyzed. No permit excursions were noted for OO6A,
however one exceedance was noted for 003A for total suspended solids {TSS). The elevated TSS value was
most likely from incidental sediment agitation resulting from the removal of snow and ice around the flume area. It
is TCC's opinion that the limited flow from 003A did not constitute a significant environmental impact to Foidel
Creek. Since 003A only flowed the one week, TCC could not conduct additional analysis to check this anomaly.
To date, the site has not flowed since the second week of January.
Oudalls 002A, OOaA, 005A, 007A/007W, and 008A did not discharge; and therefore had no chemical tests during June. Outfall
020A/020W has not yet been constructed, therefore sampling of this site has not occurred. Note that ponds A (Outfall
001A/001W), and H (Outfall 009A) have been deactivated following bond release, and have been removed from the newly
amended permit, effective January 1, 2003. In order to reduce the amount of paper work, the following certification will be
substituted for the actual DMR forms to cover the outfalls, which did not discharge.
CERTIFICATION
1 certify under penalty of law that !have personally examined and am familiar with the information submitted herein; and
based on my inquiry of those individuals responsible for obtaining the information, I believe the submitted information is
true, accurate, and complete. I am aware that there are significant penalties for submitting false information, including the
possibility of fine and imprisonment. See 18 U.S.C. § 1007 and 33 U.S.C. § 1319.
