The Soil Conservation Service should be consulted to provide their <br />standard analysis of existing vegetation and soils to supplement <br />the very brief information given. <br />2. The Colorado Division of Wildlife should provide an analysis of <br />the wildlife impacts of this operation at this site. <br />Exhibit E <br />1. The Soil Conservation Service should be asked to provide a final <br />reclamation seed mixture for this site. They can provide an <br />entire reclamation plan which will include topsoil handling, <br />mulching, seeding rates, etc. All of these things are needed in <br />the reclamation plan. <br />J2. The final planned agricultural use is presumably to be grazing. <br />Please clarify [his. <br />3. What are to be the final reclaimed pit slopes? A slope of no <br />steeper than 3H:1V is more likely to be successfully reclaimed <br />and stabilized with vegetation than is a steeper slope. <br />Exhibit F <br />The letter included as proof of local zoning states that proposed <br />revisions and amendments to Park County zoning regulations (as of <br />September 27, 1977) will permit mining on this site. Some proof <br />that this site is now properly zoned should be sent to the Division. <br />Woodside Park Pit <br />Exhibit B <br />Comments 1, 2, and 3 for the Sulphur Mountain Pit also apply to this <br />pit. <br />Exhibit C. <br />Presumably, if Woodside Park adjoins the pit on all sides, the only <br />adjacent landowner is Park County itself (presuming Woodside Park is <br />owned by the County). If this is the case, there are no adjacent <br />landowners. Please clarify this situation. <br />Exhibit D <br />Comments 1 and 2 for the Sulphur Mountain Pit also apply to this pit. <br />Exhibit E <br />Comments 1, 2, and 3 for the Sulphur Mountain Pit also apply to this <br />pit. Also, if a landfill is now planned as part of the reclamation <br />for the pit, a technical revision to the permit will be necessary. <br />Exhibit F <br />The comment for the Sulphur Mountain Pit applies here, as well. <br />Exhibit G <br />The total acreage for the pit area is 9.12 acres. The copy of the <br />deed given in the permit application is for 5 acres only. I presume <br />that the excerpt of the Park County Commissioners minutes is to <br />
