TAB 12 <br />FACILITIES <br />Introduction <br />Construction of the facilities at the Hayden Gulch Loadout was completed during the time <br />period 1978 through 1980 by the pervious owner/operator/permittee, H-G Coal Company. The <br />following sections describe the approved facilities layout. The 2,000,000 ton per year (2MM <br />ton/year) rail unloading/truck haulage system, which is permitted through Technical Revision <br />No. 6 (TR-06), is presented at the end of this section. The exhibits referenced in this tab <br />correspond to the approved TR-06 facilities layout. The exhibits (with revision number and <br />date) are as follows: <br />Exhibit 12-1, Facilities Map (Revision 14, 03/07) <br />Exhibit 12-1A, Train Unloading and Truck Loading Facilities Plan and Sections (Revision <br />0, 11/04) <br />Exhibit 12-2, Surface Water Control Plan Map (Revision 11, 03/07) <br />Exhibit 12-3, Truck Loop Pondl Existing Condition (Revision 0, 3/1/93) <br />Exhibit 12-4, Rail Loop Pond 2 Existing Condition (Revision 1, 9/05) <br />Exhibit 12-5, Haul Road HGLF-HRZ {Revision 0, 11/18/09) <br />To address Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety's (CORMS; Formally known as <br />Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology [GONG)) concerns expressed in the 2005 Nid-Term <br />Permit Review regarding the approved TR-06 modifications versus what is existing and on-the- <br />ground, Attachment 12-1, Existing Facilities Area Description, has been added to the permit <br />application package (PAP). This attachment will be removed from the PAP upon the <br />construction of the approved TR-06 modifications. <br />Most of the existing support features (i.e., sedimentation ponds, drainage ditches, roads) <br />will be retained upon completion of the TR-06 approved modifications. The major changes <br />will be the demolition and, or relocation of several existing coal handling structures. <br />Attachment 12-1 includes a description o£ the current facility configuration and sua¢narizes <br />what will be demolished or relocated following the completion of the 2 MM ton/year coal <br />handling system approved under TR-06. <br />Sediment and Water Control Facilities Plan <br />There are currently two sedimentation ponds located within the permit boundary.
