We are unable to forward the rec{wired bond in the amount of $U7, 50r).00 because at thn Ares?nt tim? the bonding companies bare refused to underwrite this bond without extraordinary or exorbitant security demands being made upon the operator. In this re sl'~e ct we request additiwral time in which to contact other companies or in which to receive a letter of credit from one of the local banks in lieu of the bond. We realize your letter states that an acceptable surety must be submitted no later than October 31, 1977, however during the thirty days since the consent agreement and your letter had been forwarded to Hart Rok Redi Mixt Concrete, Inc., the. company has I made a concerted effort in obtaining a surety, all of which has been without success except for one or two companies which will require a cash collateral of the total bond amount in order to underwrite the bond.
