20 <br />Consumntive Use of Water <br />Consumptive use of water will be through dust suppression in the plant area, on the interior haul <br />road and access road to Colo Hwy 257, and through evaporative loss from stockpiles and alluvial <br />groundwater exposed due to mining. The total annual depletion of Thompson River water due to <br />these factors will be.included in the "Temporary Substitute Supply Plan" An annual accounting <br />of the consumptive use of the mining operation's water needs is required to be submitted to the <br />State as part of the Substitute Supply Plan. A more complete description of the consumptive use <br />of water by this operation is contained in the copy of the "Temporary Substitute Supply Plan" <br />which will be inserted as Exhibit G-1 Temporary Substitute Supply Plan.. <br />Water Rights <br />The applicant owns 3.25 shares of capital stock of the Lake Loveland Ditch Company which <br />have historically been valued at 130 acre-feet per year for irrigation purposes. Applicant also <br />owns .5 share of Greeley Loveland Ditch Co valued at 15 acre feet per year for irrigation <br />purposes. These ditch rights will be converted for the consumptive use of groundwater exposed <br />due to aggregate mining, losses due to product washing and dust suppression on the site. <br />Temporary Substitute Sup~y Plan <br />As part of this Two Rivers Rock Sand and Gravel Mine Regular "112" permit submittal for <br />mining in the alluvium of Big And Little Thompson Rivers and exposing groundwater, a <br />"Temporary Substitute Supply Plan" is being prepared and will be submitted to the Colorado <br />State Engineer as part of the mining approval.
