• POST-MINING INFLOW INTO MINE WORKINGS
Following cessation of mining operations, the underground mine workings
will be allowed to flood. Based on an estimated post-mining inflow rate
of 750 gpm and an estimated mine workings volume of 19,300 ac/ft, it is
estimated to take about 16 years to refill the mine workings. Details
of the mine inflow calculations are presented in Section 2.05.6,
Mitigation of the Impacts of Mining Operations.
