TRAPPER DINING INC.
r
Mr. Kent Gorham
Colorado Division of Minerals & Geology
215 Centennial Building
1313 Sherman Street
Denver, CO 80203
December 29,1993
RE: Trapper Mine Fourth quarter 1993 Sediment Pond Inspections
Dear Kent
J/~rr
0_?;c~n
~,.
Enclosed are the impoundment inspection reports for the fourth quarter of 1993. All storm event
runoff has passed safely and the structures have, with the possible exception of West Pyeatt No. 2,
functioned as designed. The spillway design for this structure is being evaluated for passible
reconstruction in 1994.
All impoundments appear to be in good condition though snow cover (4"-12") precluded a thorough
inspection of the embankments and appurtenant structures. Minor maintenance requirements will
be completed as the weather permits.
If you have any questions, please call Forrest Luke or me.
MW W/mg/DMG1T29
ens
Sincerely,
Mark Wehmanen
Sr. Project Engineer
P.O.
