The report was not submitted due to a misunderstanding of the submittal requirements precipitated by some
personnel changes here at the mine. This has been corrected and should not repeat itself in the future. On the positive side,
no permit limitation exceedences occurred during the period.
Quarterly Whole EfBuent Toxicity (WET) tests were conducted for Outfall 001 the week of March 27, 2001. This site passed
for both species, with "Concentrations with Statistically Significant Difference in Lethality" reported at 100% for P. Promelas
and >100% for C. Dubia. Copies of the CDPS WET Test Report Forms for both species are included with this submittal.
Outfall 001 is being tested for Hardness in addition to the required parameters. A copy of those results is included in this
submittal.
Please contact me at (970) 870-2712 for any further questions or additional information.
Sinc~erely~ ~~?
Richard Mills
Environmental Manager
File:l:\en\env\dmr\2001\36684\1'~ quarter dmr cl
