I stated that DMG had not received
the requested return receipt.
Post Office staff stated that notice of attempted delivery had been left at the residents
mail box. Cortez Post Office will hold the certified letter for approximately 15 days for
addressee retrieval. If addressee does not retrieve the certified letter within the 15 day
period, Post Office will return to sender.
I inquired if there was any difference between the addresses "22310 Road K" and
"22310 County Road K". Post Office staff stated that the two addresses were to the
same location, but that the Post Office was attempting to discourage the use of "County
Road" for the abbreviated "Road" to shorten address information.
