It is our belief that the
perceived lack of water had nothing to do with the ditching but everything to do
with the fact that our neighbor to the south (source of water) inadvertantly shut off
all the water to down stream users, (during irrigation) including United
Companies. We as well as others, were completely without water for a few days.
Upon determining the problem, we subsequently had a discussion with the
farmer (Eddy Lang) and the land owner (Buster Jutten) and have been assured
that interuption of irrigation water to and through our property will not occur
again. To the best of my knowledge since our discussion (several weeks ago),
the problem has not reoccured. Further, we haven't heard from any of our
neighbors down stream either.
