Listed below are the Division's <br />adequacy review comments for this application. The Division is required to make an approval or <br />denial decision no later than June 3, 2002 therefore, your response to the following adequacy review <br />concerns should be received by the Division by May 24,2002. <br />The West Greeley Soil Conservation District (WGSCD) has commented to the Division <br />concerning the control of Russian olive and tamarisk trees on the site. Please provide a control plan <br />for these trees and documentation that the WGSCD concurs with the plan. <br />2. The applicant has stated that the slurry wall will meet the performance criteria established by the <br />State Engineer for sealed reservoirs. In order for the DMG to approve the application, design <br />information, specifications and a QA must be submitted to the DMG and incorporated as an <br />enforceable component of the permit application. Please refer to the enclosed memo of April <br />29,2002 from Allen Sorenson to Gregg Squire. <br />3. The applicant has stated that the City of Greeley will complete a new substitute water supply plan <br />and well permit application for the 25~' Avenue site. The Division can not approve this permit <br />application until the applicant has provided written evidence to the Division of compliance with all <br />requirements of the Office of the State Engineer (OSE), including Senate Bill 120 for evaporative <br />loss, or can provide the Division with a letter from the OSE that they will concur with the issuance <br />of the reclamation permit. <br />
