<br />Extension of Public Comment Period, Extension of DMG Decision Date, Division Director
<br />Rescheduled Dates for the Pre-hearing Conference and Formal Public Hearing,
<br />Line Camp Pit, File No. M-2001-001.
<br />Dear Party and/or Interested Person:
<br />On March 21, 2001, DMG received an Amendment to the Line Camp Pit application.
<br />Copy of the Amendment to the application is available for public review at the office of
<br />the Montezuma County Clerk and Recorder, at the DMG office in Denver at 1313
<br />Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado, and at the DMG office in Durango at 701
<br />Camino del Rio, Room 125, Durango, Colorado.
<br />Pursuant to Rule 1.8.4(1) of the Construction Material Rules and Regulations of the
<br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board (Rule1, DMG decision date has been extended to
<br />May 5, 2001.
<br />To ensure opportunity for public participation in the review of the Amendment, the public
<br />comment period has been reopened till 4:00 p.m. April 10, 2001. DMG will consider
<br />timely submitted comments specific to the Amendment in our review process. Comments
<br />addressing the adeauacv of the Amendment must be received by the DMG Durango
<br />Office, 701 Camino del Rio, Room 125, Durango, CO 81301, FAX (970) 247-5104, no
<br />later than 4:00 p.m., April 10, 2001.
<br />The Formal Public Hearing before the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board, for
<br />consideration of the Line Camp Pit application, has been rescheduled from the original
<br />April 25-26, 2001 date to May 23-24, 2001. The Board will not consider the Line Camp
<br />Pit application during the previously scheduled April 25-26, 2001 Board meeting. The
<br />Formal Public Hearing for consideration of the Line Camp Pit application will occur during
<br />the May 23-24, 2001 Board meeting at 1313 Sherman Street, Room 318, Denver,
<br />Colorado, commencing at 9:00 a.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard.
<br />Parties and Interested Persons are encouraged to contact DMG staff member Wally
<br />Erickson at the DMG Durango Office, phone (970) 247-5469, on May 21, 2001, to be
<br />informed of the specific date of the hearing.
