RECLPMATION PLAN (EXHIBIT E)
Response No. 15 refers to an amended Reclamation Plan Map. No such
map was included in your submittal. Please provide this item.
You indicated that, although you have committed to providing
necessary grading, compacting and placing base course materials in
connection with the Riverfront Trail, you have not included
associated expenditures in your reclamation cost estimate because
it will occur sooner than planned reclamation. Be reminded that
the reclamation cost estimate we require is intended to represent
the amount it would cost the State to have reclamation completed in
the event of a default, not what you expect your costs to be if you
reclaim the site according to plan. Please address this issue.
RECLf~MATION COSTS (EXHIBIT L)
7. The response to Adequacy Item No. 22 did not include the
information we requested. Please provide a detailed itemization of
what it would cost the State of Colorado to u y rec aim a site,
using independent contractors, if the operator were to default at
the time of maximum disturbance of the site. You should provide
quantitative measures of materials to be moved, etc.; a description
of the physical configuration of the site at the time of maximum
disturbance sufficient to allow independent verification of your
quantitative estimates; and an adequate allowance for indirect
costs.
8. Please revise the idealized cross-sections to include a vertical
scale, and to show the proposed berms.
If you wish for this application to be scheduled for consideration by the
Mined land Reclamation Board on June 27-28, 1990, you must provide a response
to each item prior to June 20. If you are unable to fully respond to this
letter, providing all required information prior to the date specified, please
contact me requesting continuance of Board consideration to a later date.
If y~au have amy questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
~~
,.
Michael J.
