1 <br />JAN 30 '96 01:15PM COLOWYO COAL P.Si13 <br />i <br />b. e,isting ground water quality; and <br />I <br />c. relevant geologic and hydrogeologic conditions, including but not <br />limited to the presence of ground water hydrologically connected to <br />surtace waters and recharge areas. <br />3.11.5 GROUND WATER QUALITY STANDARDS <br />i <br />The water quality standards specified in Subsections A and B below are deemed <br />necessary and appropriate to protect ground water uses as specified in Section <br />3.11.4, and shall be adopted to protect such classified uses. The standards <br />specified in Subsection C apply to alt State ground waters, unless alternative <br />site-specific standards have been adopted for a specified area pursuant to <br />Subsection D below. <br />A. Narrative Standards <br />1. Ground Water shall be free 1`rom pollutants not listed in the Tables <br />referred to in Section 3.11,5(B)i, which alone or in combination with other <br />substances, are in concentretii~ns shown to be: <br />a. Carcinogenic, mutagenic, Iteratogenic, or toxic to human beings, <br />and/or, <br />., <br />b. A danger to the public hee.lth, safety, or welfare. <br />I <br />~ 1.
