• <br />RECLAMATION <br />• <br />a. The affected area where major disturbance has occurred will be <br />reclaimed and returned to agricultural use which will be 42.746 <br />acres to be used for dryland crop farming. <br />• <br />h. The lands adjacent to the affected area on the North and West are <br />currently being used for dryland crop farming. The land adjacent <br />to the affected area on the South is open range. The affected area <br />• is bounded on the East by Colorado State Highway X113. <br />c. Topsoil stored in stockpiles will be transported to the graded <br />slopes and placed from 6" to 12" deep on areas that are to be seeded. <br />• This operation will be done concurrently with adjacent mining oper- <br />ations which will insure that reclamation will proceed as soon as <br />the gravel has been mined. Seeding in each prepared area will be <br />accomplished the spring or fall season succeeding, provided climatic <br />• conditions are correct. Seeding and fertilizing will be done to <br />specifications set forth by the local Soil Conservation Office, <br />listed herein. <br />• d. The affected land when rehabilitated will be returned to its original <br />use. This is compatible with existing vegetation, wildlife, water, <br />air and soil. No water will be impounded on the reclaimed affected <br />area. <br />• <br />e. N.A. <br />f.
