Item 17 and 17a: Exhibit AB was modified to include requested additional ground <br />water wells, notification and mitigation procedures. <br />Item 17b: The house and shop located in Section 11, Brookside, utilizes municipal water <br />system as verified by Brookside town clerk, Renee Bolkema on July 17, 2007. <br />Item 21: Sweetclover was removed from the temporary seed mix, a suitable replacement <br />species was added. Table 2.05.4-3 on page 2.05.4-10 was modified. <br />Item 24: Reference areas are included in revised Map 3. <br />Item 25: Pages 2.04-28 thru 29 were modified to include a summary of the vegetation <br />survey. <br />Item 26: Vegetation reference area management and control information was added on <br />pages 2.05.4-15 in Section 2.05.4. Primary methods by which the reference areas will be <br />utilized to determine revegetation success was explained in revised pages 2.05.4-15 of <br />Section 2.05.4. <br />A proposed species diversity standard for grasses and forbs was added on <br />pages 2.05.4-16 of Section 2.05.4. The landowners provided a letter requesting that <br />woody plants not be reestablished on reclaimed areas in order to increase forage for <br />grazing, and that woody plants not be included in the reclamation success standazds. A <br />copy of this letter was included for placement in Exhibit AK, Correspondences. <br />Northfield has therefore removed shrub species in the proposed permanent seed mix <br />described on pages 2.05.4-9 and 10, and woody plant density is not included in the <br />proposed reclamation success standazds on page 2.05.4-17. <br />Item 26a: Monitoring and control of significant infestations of listed noxious weeds was <br />included in a Weed Management Plan on pages2.05.4-12. <br />Item 29: Sampling methods and statistical demonstrations were explained on pages <br />2.05.4-13 through 15. <br />Item 34: Exhibit AB was modified to include requested additional ground water wells, <br />notification and mitigation procedures.
