It is understood that this is for a new mining / <br />extraction activity and reclamation upon mine closure. In addition to the State's review, it <br />is expect that the proposed extraction operation would also require a review and <br />approval by Weld County with a referral to the Town of Frederick. <br />Please be advised that the subject parcel (Assessor Id. number 131315000025 (Phil <br />Camenish)) is within the Town of Frederick's Planning Area; however the site has not <br />been annexed. Please also be advised that the Town may require annexation of this <br />site in accordance with the adopted Comprehensive Plan, which has designated this <br />area for Mixed Use Residential Neighborhood uses. Furthermore, the site is in <br />proximity to a residential development within the Town limits of Frederick; thus, <br />appropriate mitigation measures would be anticipated and the Town may have various <br />concerns including drainage, water quality, noise, dust, traffic, etc. <br />Please have the applicant provide additional information regarding the proposal to the <br />Town of Frederick prior to any authorization. Please also note that the letter from your <br />_ _ _office_is dated_November24,.2006,.andstates~Yhat comments_must be_received by <br />November 20, 2006.
