Introduction <br />The water quality assessment (WQA) of the North Fork of the Gunnison River, Sylvester Gulch, <br />West Sylvester Gulch, the Dry Fork of Minnesota Creek, and Lone Pine Gulch near the various <br />Mountain Coal Company, LLC West Elk Mine and the Bear Coal Company Inc., Bear #3 Mine <br />Wastewater Treatment Facilities, hereinafter the Mountain Coal WWTFs and Bear Coal WWTF, <br />was developed for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) Water <br />Quality Control Division (WQCD).
