This includes the addition of seven
new impoundments (Area # I Pit, Thickner Underflow Holding Pond, Fish Creek
Tipple Waste Water Pond, and the series of four waste water treatment ponds at
Twentymile). Note that there was still some existing snow cover resulting in limited
visibility in some areas. Ponds D, E, F, G, 62 (Fish Creek Tipple), and the four waste
water treatment ponds were flowing during the inspection. A detai]ed inspection of all
sites will be performed in the second quarter of 2006 after the spring thaw. Some
dredging and maintenance is anticipated for the summer of 2006 as noted in the
reports.
This information is submitted in compliance with the Twentymile Coal Company
Permit C-82-056 and Rule 4.05.6(13).
