~, <br />This soil is u[i]iaed by wildlife such as elk, mule deer, and <br />brown bear. They obtain food from grasses and shrubs and from adjacent <br />areas. The wooded areas provide good shelter and concealment. Rabbits, <br />squirrels, blue grouse, and numerous small birds also inhabit the areas. <br />The steep slope, rockiness, and hazards of landslides are limiting <br />soil features that must be considered when planning the construction of <br />homes and their facilities and roads.
