EXHIBIT I
SOILS INFORMATION
The following information regarding the soils for this application was obtained from the
Prowers County Soils Survey prepared by the U.S.D.A. Soil Conservation Service.
The properly lies within the floodplain of the Arkansas River. The soils are classified as
loams by the Soil Conservation Service. The soils are essentially a valley fill aquifer of
sand and gravel overlain by a layer of topsoil and overburden. The sand and gravel is
interspersed with lenses of clays and silts that were deposited by floods.
The water table is high due to the close proximity of the river. It tends to fall in the late
summer and all through the winter as the river levels recede.
The copy of the SCS information is enclosed for reference
I-1
