All storm runoff
and melt-out has passed without a senous incident. All dams except dam #9 in Johnson
Gulch have functioned as designed.
There was a minor structural breach along the culvert spillway in Dam #9 that drained
the pond without serious impact. I addressed this failure to the CMLRD via phone and
correspondence (3/27/91). The immediate temporary repairs have returned the pond to
design criteria.
Other dams with the principal spillway culvert design (Johnson #10, No Name #2 and No
Name #4) are functioning properly and show no evidence of piping. We shall monitor
those dams closely during this spring runoff period.
Please call if you have any questions and/or concerns.
Sincerely,
/~~C~Cs-~1/~LGc~
%~' ~"
William Agnew
Sr. Environmental Engineer
Attachment
RECEii1E~
APR 0 8 1991
Mined Land
Reclamation Division
WSH/WA/rbb/016
pc: J.M.
