The average selenium concentration was 0.063 mg/Kg with a range of < 0.005 mglKg to 0.238
mg/Kg. According to the Wyoming Guidelines, selenium concentrations that exceed 0.1 mg/Kg
are tnarginal for revegetation. Several of the samples obtained slightly exceeded 0.1 mg/Kg.
However, this material will be mixed with remaining overburden material and the concentrations
should be reduced. Therefore, no problems concerning selenium and revegetation are anticipated.
