BP has recently
constructed a detention pond at the southwest corner of its site along the east side of CR 309. The
question was whether overflow from this pond could potentially reach the proposed gravel pit
Based on field review and topographic data assessment it was found that this potential outflow
would not reach the affected area of the proposed pit Any outflow from this detention pond will
be collected into a baz ditch running parallel with the CR 309 and rdtried south approximately
1,400 feel to a point where a culvert crosses under the roadway to the west. This crossing carries
flows into an existing ravine that enter: the river valley weq south ofthe proposed pit boundary
(see attached map}.
Please contact me should you have questions or comments.
Sincerely
~~!
Matt Carnahan
Consultant Agent for Gravel.
