Ms. Sandra L. Emrich
July 22, 1983
Page 3
D. Downstream Embankment Slope
Vegetation appears somewhat thicker on this slope than on the
upstream slope. Erosion does not appear to be a problem due
to the relatively short slope and limited area exposed to
runoff, Ho cracking, bulging, or other signs of stress were
noted. The area below the first break in slope was re-
topsoiled for reclamation seeding in 1982 and vegetation
appeared to be establishing nicely.
III. Results
There has been no noticeable change in the embankment structure
since the annual inspection of June 15, 1982. Vegetation is
beginning to grow on the side slopes.
The embankment is stable and the underlying rock fill is func-
tioning as expected.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this report please contact
me at this office.
Respectfully,
~ti, ~~Q~ti-,J
Curtis M.
