The records of Alamosa County show that the Colorado
Division of Mined Land took a $10,000, plus court costs, judgment
against Bill Malouff in Civil Action 83-4399, County of Denver, which
judgment was transcripted against real property owned by Bill Malouff
on August 17, 1984, in Book 306, Page 42, records of Alamosa County.
i have been furnished with your letter of April 26, 1989, a
copy of which is enclosed, in which the "Board approved the
suspension of the $10,000.00 civil penalty," and a memorandum of
January 25, 1991, confirming that the $10,000.00 civil penalty had,
in fact, been suspended. To clear the real estate of the lien, it
would be necessary for the attorney bringing the suit to either
dismiss the case, or to enter a Satisfaction of Judgment on which the
Court could issue a Certificate of Satisfaction.
On behalf of Mr. Malouff, I would ask your help in
concluding this matter.
Thank you.
Sincer ly, ~w_-- -'
GORDON H.
