Banks and Gesso, LLC
Introduction
Clear Creek District Water Providers, LLC wishes to permit a specification aggregate
rock quarry on land owned by Phillip and Kathleen Wolf in Gilpin County. Clear Creek
District Water Providers, LLC has entered into a lease with Mr. Wolf to mine the
property.
The site is vacant mountain land with access onto State Highway 119 (a CDOT access
permit has been obtained). The operation will be a typical rock quarry operation similar
to other Front Range quarries (including drilling, blasting, excavation, crushing,
screening and truck hauling). Quarry reserves are estimated at 100,000,000 tons
although plans for only the first 10 years of operation are herein submitted (as requested
by the Division).
Reclamation of the mined benches, processing area, waste rock areas, access road and
other incidental disturbances will include grading, topsoiling (with soil amendments) and
seeding with plant species native to the area.
Clear Creek District Water Providers, LLC October 25, 2004
MMRR Quarry 2 03047
