RE: Pre-hearing Conference and Formal Public Hearing for Hall Irwin Corporation, Parker-Dersham
Resource, File No. M-2006-003 ;,i

The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG) has received objections to the application for the Parker-
Dersham Resource New 112c Application (File No. M-2006-003) submitted by Hall Irwin Corporation.
Comments and objections have been forwarded to Hall Irwin Corporation.
A Pre-hearing Conference has been scheduled to occur on Mav 22.2006, beginning at 11:00 a.m, at the Division
of Minerals and Geology, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado. Ms. Sandra Brown will preside as
Pre-hearing Conference Officer. The purpose of the Pre-hearing Conference is to describe the Office's review
process, to explain the rights and responsibilities of parties, to discuss and resolve issues to the extent possible, to
describe the Boazd Hearing processes, to determine the list of issues under the Board's jurisdiction and to simplify
the list, and to determine who has demonstrated standing to be a party to the Formal Board Hearing.
Staff has scheduled the matter for Fonnal Public Hearing before the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Boazd.
The hearing on the application for the Parker-Dersham Resource New 112c permit will occur during the June 14-
15.2006Board meeting at 1313 Sherman Street, Room 318, Denver, Colorado, commencing at 10:00 a.m. on
June 14`" or 9:00 on June 15`" or as soon thereafter as the matter can be considered. Parties and interested persons
will have the opportunity to be heazd,
