BOX 687 <br />In regards to your letter of December 2, 1980, concerning the above captioned, <br />following are answers to your questions. <br />A. Application <br />a. Item 7 - Yes, BLM is the owner of the substance to be mined. <br />B. Exhibit B - <br />1. In the past, BLM has always plotted 20 acres to the county, however, <br />we never go over 10 acres. <br />2. There will be one topsoil stockpile on the southwest side, and <br />there will be approximately 4,000 cubic yards in the stockpile. <br />3. As soon as the operation begins, stripping will be pushed into <br />the mined area and leveled out as the operation progresses. <br />4. Enclosed is a list of equipment to be used on the site. <br />C. Exhibit C - Map <br />1. Refer to the enclosed map showing adjacent land owners. <br />D. Exhibit D - Wildlife, water resources, vegetation, and soil information <br />1. Refer to enclosed copy. <br />E. Exhibit E - Reclamation Plan <br />1. We will comply with the staffs recommendations and will incorporate <br />the seeds as stated in your letter. <br />2. We try to maintain a 4:1 slope or flatter to eliminate erosion <br />problems. <br />
