• ABSTRACT <br />The Office of Surface Mining requires a determination of the <br />likelihood of the presence of sensitive site types in a half <br />mile buffer zone around a surface mine. This determination pre- <br />pared by Idestern Cultural Resource Management, Inc. found that <br />sensitive site types do occur in the buffer zone of the Colocayo <br />Coal Mine of Colowyo Coal Company, Moffat County, Colorado.
