They were re-inspected on June 26, 2002, after the first significant rainfall since they were
constructed. All ponds had received some inflow. None were discharging and no significant new erosion
was noted.
To the best of my knowledge, based upon my field observations and investigations, as detailed in the
attached inspections reports, all referenced ponds are being maintained in conformance with pendent, state-
of-the-art earthen embankment construction.
Sincefcly, (~
`~~-~u~6l~J
Ronald G. Thompson
MSHA Certified -Impoundment Inspections
I have reviewed these reports and certify that a qualified person under my direction has inspected these
ponds.

- . ~ ~ ryh~~, f~
- Colcr~'d~

-..
- . -
.
;,`

~~~
McGlothlin, P.
