This report provides details of
the drilling and completion per Mr. Steve Schram, Natural Soda, Inc. Drilling
Engineer. A gamma ray log is enclosed for we112M-TDR.
Also, enclosed is a letter dated May 1, 2003 from Mr. Jim Cremeens with Agapito
Associated Inc.. Mr. Cremeens was a contractor for Natural Soda, Inc. to oversee
TDR cable installation. There is some evidence that three of the cables were
damaged during cement phase of the well completion. In summary, Mr. Cremeens
stated "that there has not been enough time elapsed to post-process, nor interpret all
the data. Similazly, the suggestion that cables 1, 2 and 4 have been compromised
by water intrusion due to cable damage is no more than a preliminary suggestion.
The data will be thoroughly scrutinized to determine the current state of expected
performance from the TDR installations." Natural Soda will continue to have
Agapito Associates, Inc. evaluate the status and future value of this well. If three of
the cables are compromised, and just the TDR cable set 95 feet above the
Dissolution Surface is working properly, Natural Soda will have to provide the
regulatory agencies with a plan of how this well will meet monitoring requirements.
The future use of multiple TDR cables in monitoring wells to evaluate mining
effects will be reviewed and alternatives considered. Natural Soda will have to
provide the regulatory agencies with a revised subsidence monitoring plan.
