SECTION 5.0 TOPSOIL STOCKPILE LOCATIONS
Section 4.9.2 of Trapper's permit application requires that the Division be
provided a map illustrating proposed topsoil stockpile locations for the
upcoming year and the actual locations of stockpiles constructed the previous
years. The attached map illustrates topsoil stockpile locations. The pro-
posed locations may exceed the actual number that may be constructed. Pile
locations and the number of piles depend greatly on the field conditions that
are encountered during the construction season.
Also, please note that in south Ashmore pit, one stockpile will need to be
relocated to alloy for the advancement of the pit. This stockpile, containing
92,800 yda, will be reconstructed to the south of its currrent location but in
a location where it can be used to topsoil recontoured spoils in Ashmore and
Enfield pits. As outlined in Permit Revision PR-2, Ashmore pit has been
expanded south to include this area based on developmental drilling
information.
It is assumed that approval of this annual report includes approval to relo-
cate this stockpile.
