• The west and north refuse collection ditches are not affected by the
refuse pile expansion, however their designs are contained in this
exhibit.
The watershed draining to Sediment Pond No. 4 was not significantly
affected by the refuse pile expansion. Hydrology and sedimentology
calculations were completed which verified that the pond's capacity is
adequate to contain the required surface runoff and sediment volume.
The pond's outlet structures were also determined to be adequate.
The methodology utilized to complete this exhibit is explained in detail
in the Methodology Section of this report. Drawings showing structure
locations and design details are also contained within this report and
supersede all previous maps and detail drawings referencing the subject
structures. Hydrology calculations and hydraulic design calculations
are contained in Appendix A, Hydrology Calculations, and the section
• titled, Diversion and Collection Ditch Hydraulic Design Calculations, of
this report, respectively.
•
-3R- Revised - February, 1990
