4 <br />Basin's water usage fluctuates with mining rates. Combinations of <br />the Purgatoire Water Rights and Golden Eagle Mine Water Rights are <br />used in varying proportions to meet the needs of the New Elk and <br />Golden Eagle facilities. Compliance with decreed water usage is <br />under the jurisdiction of the Colorado Division of Water Resources, <br />Division 2, and is monitored by the Area Water Commissioner, Danny <br />Marques.
